The Underground where it really runs

Every line and every station is drawn in its true place on the ground. The Thames winds through the middle, the Central line reaches out to Epping, the Metropolitan runs up into the Chilterns to Chesham, and you can see how the whole network sits across London: where the lines run close, where they share track, and how far the outer branches actually go.

Central London is enlarged in its own panel, so the West End and the City stay readable at arm's length. Every curve follows surveyed OpenStreetMap data, and each line is in its official colour.

Why £27.50 and £44.68

The open print is priced after LNER 2750 Papyrus, which ran back into King's Cross at 108 mph in March 1935 and made the streamliners possible. The limited edition is priced after what followed: LNER 4468 Mallard, which took the world speed record for steam at 126 mph in July 1938 and holds it still. You will find King's Cross St Pancras near the middle of the map.
